REVELATION 6 OVERVIEW
(Acts 3:19/ Zechariah 6:1-5/Ezekiel 37:9,10) 4 Winds of Heaven or Times of Refreshing from Presence of the Lord = 1st 4 Seals=Chariot/Horse Combination with purpose to revive an Army for God)
1.And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, (Rev 5:1-8, Rev. 13:8 Book of Life) and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, (Revelation 4:5 out of the throne/7 thunders/mystery of God Rev. 10:3,4,7) one of the four beasts (Revelation 4:6-9 / Ezekiel 1 - Living Creatures situated in and around throne of God - represent humanity of Christ (Genesis 49:8- 12 Judah, Deuteronomy 33:13-17 Ephraim, Genesis 49:3 Reuben, Genesis 49:16 Dan; continual Holy, Holy, Holy) saying, Come and see. (John 1:29-51 The Lamb of God).
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: (Isaiah 31:3; Rev. 19: 11 -Jesus) and he that sat on him had a bow; (Habbakuk 3:9 - His Word) and a crown (James 1:12 - crown of Life received after tried) given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.(Isaiah 42:13 Mighty Man / Man of war roars (LION) and prevails; Ps24.)
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast (Deuteronomy 32:17 Firstling of a Bullock/Hebrews 9:12-14) say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon (Zechariah 1:8,11 The Lord of Hosts) to take peace from the earth (Matthew 10:34) and that they should kill one another (Rev. 13:10) and there was given unto him a great sword. (Hebrews 4:12; Rev. 2:16; Revelation 13:14)
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast (Genesis 49:3 Firstborn/Colossians 13-18/Hebrews 1,5,7 High Priest and Intercessor) say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black (spirit of mourning/humility Malachi 3:24, Isaiah 50:3) horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.(1 Samuel 2:3, Prov 16:2; Dan5:27 The Lord weighs actions; Rev. 14:6&7; Colossians 3:8-14)
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts (Rev. 5:12 The Lamb) say, A measure of wheat (Luke 8:11 seed = Word of God) for a penny ( Matthew 20:2 = days wage) and three measures of barley (Numbers 5:15 a jealousy offering/ Judges 7:13,20 EGW/ Isaiah 28:25-28; Luke 11:5,13/ John 16:8 Comforter -Reproof of sin, righteousness and Judgment) for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil (Matthew 25 , Holy Spirit by which the love of God is shed abroad, 2 Corinthians 4:6-7,10) and the wine (pure blood of Jesus shed for remission of sin Mt. 26:27-29) STORY OF JOSEPH
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast (Exodus 19:4 /Isaiah 31:5 Flying Eagle = God our Defender) say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale (death) horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. (Rev. 1:18, Luke 12:5, Is. 28:21 – Jesus Christ holds the keys of hell and death) And power was given unto them (4 winds of the earth- Revelation 7:1) over the fourth part of the earth ( 4 corners of the earth- Revelation 7:1) to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth (Ezekiel 14:21 God’s 4 sore judgements)
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar (alter of burnt offering = Temple of God - 1 Chronicles 22:1 -3, under it is the foundation Isaiah 28:16 Cornerstone - the souls 1 Peter 2:5 we also living stones / Rev. 21:14,19-20) of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held (Rev. 1:9; Rev 14:12-13 - Martyrs)
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? (Romans 12:19; Luke 18:7; Ps 119:126)
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them (Revelation 7:9 coming out of Great Tribulation/Matt 24:21-22); and it was said unto them, that they should rest (Rev. 14:13) yet for a little season, (Isaiah 26:20) until their fellowservants (Rev. 7:3) also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Revelation 7:13-14)
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (Matthew 27:45 happened at the cross)
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. ( Matthew 24:29/Luke 21:25-26 – immediately after the tribulation / Revelation 16:17-20/ Hebrews 12:26,27 shaking of earth and heaven by coming of God – Mt. Zion perfected/ Resurrection morning Matthew 27:50-53 mirrors the cross )
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (Luke 21:26/ Daniel 12:1, John 2:13-21/ Matthew 21:12-16 / Rev. 14:9-11/Rev. 13:8 )
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Psalms 24:3-6/Rev. 14:1-5)
Revelation 7: 1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. (Isaiah 62:1-7/ Marriage supper of the Lamb Revelation 19:9)
A day = a year in prophecy = 24 hours/An hour would then be 15 days/An half an hour would be a week
