Now is Time for Adventure

NOW IS A GOOD TIME FOR ADVENTURE! I see so many thinking out side of the box with new recommendations which impose on our routine life due to CV 19. You may find your self unable to travel or be with a large group of friends or even be able to work in a similar setting. You have more time during your day. In light of the seriousness of the times now is a good time for ADVENTURE into the Word either alone or with a small group. It’s ABOUT TIME is a acronym for my Bible study method which I share with you below. It has been such a blessing to me! I hope you find it helpful. A - ASK in prayer for God’s help before and as you study. Luke 11:9-13 B - pick a BOOK from your BIBLE to study. O - Remember what comes AROUND goes AROUND again. Look for lessons from the past and patterns. 1 Corinthians 10:11 U - YOU! What is the character or flavor of your Bible passage or verse? T - the whole Bible is the TESTIMONY of Jesus. Luke 24:27,44 T - TIME is important historically, prophetically, personally! Luke 21:29-32 I - What can you learn to guard against the mystery of INIQUITY. 2 Thessalonians 2; Matthew 4:4 M - What can you learn about the greatest MYSTERY of all, the MYSTERY of Godliness. Romans 16:25-26; Colossians 1:26-27 E - END it with action for your day! Luke 9:23; Hebrews 12:1-2 EXAMPLE : For example today I studied Luke 21:29-31 and one thing I studied specifically was the kingdom of God. Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. This lead me on a Bible adventure. With the Holy Spirit directing, I traveled to Daniel. I wanted to know more about the character of my original Bible passage regarding WHEN? Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Here I found out God has been in the process of setting up His Kingdom on this earth ever since the kingdom of Babylon ie. “in the days of these kings”. I read Daniel 2 to know that God’s kingdom is represented by a stone cut out of a mountain without hands that hits the image (representing the kingdoms of this earth) on its feet and makes them dust. God’s kingdom represented by the stone becomes a great mountain and fills the whole earth! I studied on to know more about the stone, “cut out without hands”, and how it came from a mountain and becomes a mountain, and how it fills the whole earth. I have a system to record and easily add to my studies which I share also. It’s easy. Just make an A-Z index on the empty pages at the back of your Bible. Then record there the topic of study and the text you best associate it with.

Go to the text. Record all future texts related at the top of the page on your Bible this text is found on. For example using my personal study today:

There is so much to learn! Time is short as we understand it. Enjoy your ADVENTURE with God!
